SignaFlex’s advanced engineered technology offers many benefits to the dancer – providing the dancer with superb “danceability” while protecting dancers from injury.

SignaFlex is comprised of five layers engineered to maximize your dance floor's potential. The durable polyurethane surface layer (1) provides excellent resistance to dirt build-up, resists scuffs, and contains a bacteriostat agent to suppress the propagation of bacteria - a healthy added bonus for any dance floor!

The vinyl wear layer below (2) offers superior durability and slip resistance. The wear layer has a soft feel, with just enough “slide” that gives confidence to dancers.

The beautiful graphic layer (3) creates the illusion of real wood planks; the solid colors enhance your decor.

The reinforced woven glass fiber inner layer (4) provides excellent dimensional stability - which means that SignaFlex will not shrink, stretch or buckle over time.

Finally, the closed cell foam backing (5) offers excellent shock-resistance, superior stability, and good energy return for dancers. This bottom layer also minimizes vibration which protects dancers from leg stress and injuries. SignaFlex is available in 4 thicknesses – providing superior comfort on even the hardest of concrete sub-floors.

SignaFlex is also durable enough to withstand the weight of staging and scenery and will not tear, decay or rot over time.

SignaFlex rolls out flat and stays flat. Create a seamless permanent dance floor with weld rods and permanent sub-floor adhesive. Once welded and securely anchored to the sub-floor, sections will not separate or buckle even under the most rigorous use or under the heavy weight of staging or scenery.

The extra-wide rolls are 5-1/2 feet which means less joins to weld, allowing for quicker installs.

SignaFlex’s polyurethane-coated top wear layer resists dirt and scuffs and contains a bacteriostat agent to resist germs – offering a low-maintenance floor that will maintain it’s beauty for a long time.

SignaFlex can also be used a loose-lay portable dance floor for touring or other non-permanent uses. It can be securely anchored to a stable sub-floor with double-sided tape (such as carpet tape).

SignaFlex is available in 4 thicknesses – you choose the one right for you depending on the sub-floor. Choose the 3.9mm thickness for covering a forgiving sub-floor or sprung floor. Choose the extra-thick 8mm floor for very hard concrete sub-floor or a sub-floor that is slightly uneven. The 8mm floor can be used to create a dance floor with a “sprung feeling” that reduces performer fatique and injuries.
